The best "all-in-game" system, December 12, 2010
Sony created this monster of a machine - very powerful...amazing breathtaking graphics and I love it. I am not so much of a online gamer and hence that is not so important for me. Love this machine...i use it as a blueray dVd player and for netflix streaming as well and it does a great job...thanks sony!

The playstation 3 is a great unit. However, after you buy one, definetely invest in the HDMI cable. You can get one cheap on the internet for about 5 dollars. Do not go anything above that because after 5 dollars it is a rip off, just that the company is trying to make money from you. When you buy the ps3 you not only get one of the top notch gaming systems but you also get a free blue ray player that can be used to watch blue ray disks. You not only get to play games but get to watch movies in high definition! If you calculate the money between buying this and a blue ray player, this is definitely worth it! I also recommend buying a fan because this will keep your ps3 cooler and will make it have a longer life. It is not pleasant to fix a ps3 because after warranty it costs about 180 dollars. It is really expensive, so it is better to keep it safe rather then pay later. I recommend buying this game system.

We love our ps3! We use it for games obviously, but also as a blu ray player. there are games in HD. it goes on the internet (you definitely want the keyboard if your using it to surf the web) We watch streaming Tv on it with hulu and netflix. (which stream perfectly no buffering) listen to our music streamed to it from our vast library in itunes via the media server, and watch movies the same way. You also can rent or buy movies at the playstation online store, you can download game demos for free no paying for memberships, I cant say enough about it. you can hook an external hard drive to it loaded with music, movies etc. it plays divx. If I had to choose the wii or the ps3 (yes we own both) I would choose the ps3 hands down.
